Mag. Stefan Maix

Mag. Stefan Maix became the CEO of Österreichischen Salinen AG on 1 April 2008. In this role, he is also responsible for Finance and Accounting, Controlling, Quality management, IT, HR and Purchasing. Maix has been a member of the Board of Management at Österreichischen Salinen AG since 2004, first as a CFO and, since 2006, as Executive Manager of Business and Sales. He was born on 15 November 1961 in Linz, and studied business in Vienna. Before coming to the Salzkammergut region, Maix worked for Neusiedler AG in Vienna and Russia.

Dipl.-Ing. Ernst Gaisbauer

Dipl.-Ing. Ernst Gaisbauer has been a member of the Board since 16 March 2005. He is responsible for Technology and Production at Österreichischen Salinen AG. Gaisbauer was born on 27 December 1959 in Gmunden and graduated from secondary school in his hometown in 1978. He completed his degree in mining at Leoben University of Mining in 1984 and began his career as a site manager on tunnel construction projects. On 1 January 1987, he moved to Österreichischen Salinen AG, where he spent his first five years as an assistant, before he became general manager of mining in the Altaussee works. From 1995 to 2005 Gaisbauer was the manager of the entire mining segment, before he was appointed to the Board in 2005.
